Sheremetyevo will launch the third runway to the World Cup 2018

The third flight strip at the Moscow airport Sheremetyevo will be put into operation to the FIFA World Cup of 2018.
Two existing flight strips cannot admit air vehicles to Sheremetyevo at the same time. The third strip will work irrespective of two others that will practically double the flow capacity of the airport.
Length of the new runway Sheremetyevo - 3,2 km. On it all types of air vehicles of both the Russian, and foreign production will be able to make landing.
Sochi hosted the Seminar for the 2018 World Cup Teams

On February 27, the Seminar for the participating teams of the 2018 World Cup was held in Sochi.
The seminar was attended by representatives of all 32 participants of the World Cup. The event was opened by the FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samura and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee "Russia-2018" Alexei Sorokin.
Within the framework of the event, thematic content sessions were organized, covering various aspects of the upcoming tournament. In particular, in the session devoted to aviation, the Aeroflot Group, including the Rossiya airline, was selected as the main carrier during the World Cup 2018. Aircraft types were also chosen: Airbus A-319, Airbus A-320, Boeing 737-800.
